What is going on.

Ok. Just so yall can stay in the loop, and because I know how difficult it can be keeping track of everything Ill go head and post whats going on.

On Wen evening it was reported that hundreds of thousands of people around the world have been dying from this sickness. The Government hasn't said anything about an attack, but some of the more skeptical talking heads are speculating on it. There is some rioting in other countries, and some people are getting scared in the larger cities in the U.S. as yall know, when people get scared they tend to get violent. It isn't a full blown histeria yet. But starting to be a powder keg.

Yall don't have to worry too much about the details of what is going on though. The purpose of yalls intro threads is just to do some character development. To let the readers know who they are, and what they are like. Then to show their struggle in surviving when things get bad.

Ok. I advanced my thread to Sunday morning, and posted that there had been over ten million deaths world wide, and that there has been a shot created to counter this plague.

The shot is actually just more plague that was created by the same folks that attacked the airports. It's an attempt to infect those who wouldn't have normally been infected by contact with others. If your character is immune then it won't kill em. But as it is a direct injection of the plague they will get really sick for a few days, then start to feel better. If your character isn't immune, and just hasn't or won't be infected by contact with others, and gets the shot, then they will die.

Remember, just cause my character is now on Sunday doesn't mean that you have to automatically bump up to the same time.

Ok. So the president just died, the wonderful Biden is on his deathbed, and Pelosi is now the president. Yes folks we have our first woman president.

How far along is this in the timeline? Wandering minds want to know!

Naw. Its aight. Just dont try to post about anything drastic happening with the plague till I have given some guidance.

Hello, Jack Burton the new guy here.
So, social breakdown is beginning in the cities? What about the rural areas?
Would it be accurate then that police and highway patrol as well as the military are equally affected?
My character and Molly's other character Skye, are making their way out of a small crossroads in Kentucky, heading for Iowa. I'm thinking just more vehicles with dead inside. Some folks making a run for it as well?

Sorry I saw this earlier but got busy with something else. Been a little scatterbrained lately.

Yes, and a lot of that was covered in the game, but its kinda hard to read every single post when ya join in the middle.

Yes, all aspects of the government has been affected as well as cops. Rural towns and what not would have been affected slower than the metropolitan cities but they were still affected.

If you are on the same day as my character then social services will pretty much have broken down, and the grid will be going dark occasionally and sporadically. Sometime during the next few days the lights will shut off world wide for ever. But Ill post that when we get there.
